Greetings! My name is Ashlyn Gore I graduated from the University of San Diego with a Master of Arts in School Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services Credential. I've been a counselor at Rios since 2019 and I am very excited to continue to work with our amazing staff, students, and families.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and hiking! I look forward to working with staff, students and families to help ensure student success for this school year.

Hello everyone! My name is Jovanna Pelayo-McKechnie ( I go by Mrs. M) and I’m so excited to be the newest addition to Rios Elementary! I received my undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Spanish from San Diego State University as well as my Masters in Education. I then got my PPS credential from National University. I look forward to being able to continue to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. In my free time, I love spending quality time with my husband and three pets, camping, traveling, and reading.
